Smith - President and Chief Executive Officer
Timothy Smith is Autovod’s chief software designer
and is responsible for leading Autovod’s growth, assuring
successful customer engagements, and overseeing the ongoing development
of Autovod’s digital publishing technologies.
Mr. Smith founded Autovod in 1998 after twelve years of managing highly successful film, video, and multimedia marketing
initiatives for multinational Fortune 100 corporations. Mr. Smith’s
passion for innovation is evidenced in the many award-winning
presentations developed for Autovod’s clients. Previously,
Mr. Smith held positions at Apple Computer, Inc. and CKS|Pictures,
Inc., where he managed film, video, and multimedia productions.
Mr. Smith majored in broadcast communications at the University
of Alabama at Birmingham.
Robert Yates - Vice President of International Business
Development
Robert Yates is responsible for development of international business
opportunities for Autovod. Mr. Yates joined Autovod from Advanced
Fibre Communications, where he led AFC’s
international business development. Previously, he was with ADC Telecommunications
Inc., where he served as Director of International Business Development and
set international strategy for the
creation of new markets and channels for ADC's services and products.
Mr. Yates also served as ADC's Regional Vice President
for Asia Pacific and South Africa. Mr. Yates has over 20 years experience in
the IT and telecommunications industry and has held a wide variety of marketing
and sales positions around the world.
Brad Silen - Chief Software Architect
Brad Silen is responsible for architectural design and directing
Autovod’s software development. Mr. Silen’s
development process ensures a rational project architecture,
which has scalability, quality assurance, and functional
verification crafted into the product design. Mr. Silen has shipped
dozens of commercial quality Internet and shrink-wrap products and holds several
patents which reflect his ability to create innovative solutions.
Mr. Silen is an electrical engineer with a specialization
in software compiler design.
Kris Wainscott - Chief Content Architect
Kris Wainscott is responsible for information architecture
and user interface designs for Autovod.
Mr. Wainscott has over 25 years of experience in the use of digital
production methods for print, integrated multimedia, collaborative
publishing, Internet application design, and wireless application
design. Mr. Wainscott’s award winning work has been profiled
in Newsweek, Print, Communication Arts, Advertising Age, Art and
Design News, New Media Magazine, and The Web Design Wow! Book.
Mr. Wainscott studied advertising and graphic design at the Art
Center College of Design in Pasadena and computer graphics at
the University of California at Los Angeles.
